Another shaky ride on Gibb river road when all of the sudden we saw something in distance.. look what mother nature created right next to the road. 🙂

Queen Elizabeth’s head rock

After sleeping at a turn to “closed” King Leopold Gorge road (Road was closed for cars which did not stop us from getting there by bikes the day before) we were heading to the national park to see the famous, well advertised Bell Gorge. Some guides say it’s the most beautiful gorge in Kimberley. It’s perfectly “U” shaped gorge with waterfall.

We knew we had arrived to our destination when we saw 2 Kimberley wilderness adventures buses full of elderly people going the same direction. Soon enough we were overtaking them on a short walking track leading to the gorge with our teddy bear on the backpack. All grans seemed to love him! 🙂

We climbed above the waterfall to secure us bit of privacy for Tomas’s birthday cheesecake! After eating the whole cake we slipped down to the waterfall and spent the day swimming and reading. We did not take any pictures until we were about to leave, when a big lizard came out to show off followed by 2 crazy Asian girls jumping off from the waterfall (10m high). WOW.

We left the park, riding and gazing to the sun which was now down, creating beautiful scenery along the road. We have seen another breathtaking sunset, look for yourself.

P.S Do you see something unusual on Tomas? (except from being 1 year older? 🙂 Please comment below, we are looking forward to see your guesses :).

Skala v podobe hlavy kralovny Alzbety

Vylezeme si na utes nad vodopad, kde mame soukromi a vyndavame Tomuv narozeninovy cheesecake. Po dortiku se svalime dolu – pod vodopad na kamen, kde stravime cely den plavanim a ctenim, zkratka relax, medved, voda a my 2. 🙂

Respekt.

Pri odjezdu se kochame krajinou vykreslenou klesajicim sluncem a vzapeti dalsim krasnym zapadem slunce, uznejte sami.
