Kakadu National Park II

If you liked the first article about Kakadu then here is an extra portion of some photos. They are just too good to be stored somewhere without making any kind of public appearance 🙂

Sooo here we go again with the Kakadu National Park. After being in Kimberley where you can swim in any water Kakadu is quite the opposite. There are signs literally everywhere warning you about croc danger. It’s quite sad really because you walk around all those beautiful gorges, it’s sunny weather and all you wanna do is take a sip ‘n’ dip 🙂 And you CAN’T! The park is closely monitored but after seeing the first bunch of salties (saltwater crocs) we decided to be really careful. Those crocs are the real beasts! Freaking huge!
So if you are ok with staying sweaty and dirty you can come to Kakadu do observe birdlife. And lots of people really come here to do just that because the abundance and variety is stunning.

You should not miss out the Yellow Water spot which is famous for its pricey sunrise tours. You get some movie-like sunrise and sunset experience with a great nature soundtrack by birds 🙂 So grab some binoculars, get used to get up real early and go enjoy the truly spectacular national park that has a very specific character that takes patience and exploration and rewards you with a very unique memory.

Jenze ouha! To proste nejde. Ano, ctete dobre: tito krokousove pochazi puvodne z more a behem obdobi povodni se presouvaji do vnitrozemi, kde si najdou nejakou malou tunku a zakempi to tam.
