Seoul, South Korea

From Australia’s dry and rough outback into the concrete jungle of Seoul in South Korea? Could there be bigger contrast?

Z Australskeho sucheho a nehostineho outbacku sme si to namirili primo do betonove dzungle Soulu v Jizni Koree. Dosti kontrastni prestup, co ? 🙂

Seoul is HUGE and dense. There is more than 10 million people and they are all scrambled on quite small area. However lot of people work throughout the day so we didn’t get that “crowded” feeling during the day or even during late evening.

Tomino was very VERY keen to try the world famous kimchi but in the end he liked his own home-made version better 🙂 Well, you can’t have it all boy!
We have seen some interesting stuff such as this incredible variety of hotdogs on a STICK! You just take ’em and shove ’em wherever you want 🙂
We tasted Korean version of Italian cuisine which was surprisingly deeeeelicious – approved by Radunka who is the proper Italiano in our relationship. She knows it all…

We especially liked the “concrete” oasis in the city centre which was literally an oasis – small river running through some small waterfalls with awesome ambient lightning. Worth visiting and even better with some local Korean beer and EVEN better with some local friends!

Seoul was originally a quick stop-over for us but it turned out to be a very intense hearty visit with our Korean friends whom we met in Perth and shared our tough beginnings and struggles with life in Australia. Although we came from completely different cultures we found great understanding.
And so after we got “separated” we found a way to meet up again and even though this was a very short visit we had an awesome time and we are grateful for such a friendly and safe tour in Seoul.

Thank you guys, we will see you again (Europe or New Zealand?)! <3

Dal si to bude nakladat a kvasit sam, kvasan jeden… 🙂

No jo, jenze co s takovym párkem? 🙂
